Day Camp Packing List

 

Clothing

  • Bathing suit

  • Rain coat (if weather suggests rain)

  • Towel

  • Hat

  • Closed toe shoes (sneakers are preferred)

  • Sandals (for the beach)

  • Water Shoes (for the beach)

 

Miscellaneous

  • Sunscreen (waterproof and SPF 40 or higher)

  • Bug spray

  • Water bottle

  • Lunch

  • Medication *Must be in original container*

 

What to leave at home

  • Electronics

  • Money

  • Valuable things that could be lost/stolen/broken

  • Hair dryers, curling irons, straighteners (fire hazard)

  • Food, snacks or candy containing nuts (these pose an allergy risk to those who have allergies)

  • Weapons

  • Perfumes or aerosols (these pose an allergy risk to those who have allergies)

  • Drugs, alcohol, cigarettes, lighters, matches

 

*We strongly urge you to label all of your belongings and to check the lost and found before leaving camp on the final day*

Overnight Camp Packing List

 

Clothing

  • 5 shirts

  • 1-2 long sleeve shirts (for cold nights and insect protection)

  • 5 shorts

  • 1-2 pants (for any cold days)

  • 5-6 pairs of socks

  • 5 pairs of underwear

  • 1-2 sweaters and sweatpants (for cold nights and insect protection)

  • Rain coat

  • 4-5 pairs of pyjamas

  • 2 bathing suits

  • Closed toe shoes (sneakers are preferred)

  • Sandals (for showering and the beach)

  • Water Shoes (for the beach)

  • Hat

  • Costumes for themed meals

  • One nice outfit for the banquet/dance

 

Bedding

  • Pillow

  • Sleeping bag OR single bed sheets and a blanket

 

Toiletries

  • Shampoo

  • Conditionner

  • Tooth brush

  • Tooth paste

  • Hair brush

  • Deodorant

  • Feminine hygiene products (some are available in case there is an emergency)

  • 1-2 Washcloths

  • 2 towels
     

 

Miscellaneous

  • Flashlight

  • Water bottle

  • Pens/pencils (optional)

  • Book (optional)

  • Plastic bag (for wet clothes at the end of the week)

  • Anything they want to showcase their talent in the coffee house (talent show) at the end of the week
