It is with great sadness and devastation that we announce the official and permanent closure of Wolf Manor Homestead and Camp Wolf. Due to challenges outside our control, we regretfully have to close this amazing service to our community.

What Do We Do?

Our skills development day camps provide a safe environment for children, ages 5-12, to learn about self-awareness, healthy companionship and confidence. We provide our campers with life skills to deal with many issues, including fears, separation anxiety, sibling rivalry and self-esteem. We teach our campers how to take care of horses, chickens, goats and sheep. From grooming, leading, feeding; learning about the parts of the animals, behaviours and good barn management skills.

Our weeklong day consist of daily animal interaction, riding,  driving, archery, canoeing, kayaking, swimming, games and healthy snacks. We also have a large heated, in-ground, swimming pool with staff-led activities, for the campers, to exercise and cool off after a fun day with the horses.

Our low leader/camper ratio allows us to give all our campers individualized attention.

Why Camp Wolf?

Camp Wolf encourages your child to grow in one-of-a-kind ways.  Kids at animal camps transfer the respect they learn from the animals into their day-to-day lives.  Also, learning respect for animals can increase their respect for others.  Often, the experience of an animal camp can have a profound impact on children as they choose a career or otherwise go out into the world.  Camp Wolf is designed to empower anyone, with any ability, through instilling confidence, independence, problem-solving skills, spatial awareness, responsibility, and self-management.  At our camp, we learn about horse grooming, leading, feeding and also riding.  Our summer camp sessions are designed to improve life skills in children.

*Our staff are trained in First Aid and Type 1 Diabetes.*
